ANYBODY KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SCHOOL?? OR DONE RESEARCH ON IT ?? OR ANY INFO ON THE ISLAND OF ST.KITTS..

THANKS & GOD BLESS

how much is iuon?

I believe it is around $6,000/12 week semester not including living expenses(rent, food, entertainment, etc) Since I have completed all of my prereqs to get accepted into an ADN program I would only need to be there a year (decided to get my BSN instead) Cutting my cost in half compared to the other students that spend 2 years there. Check out their website: IUON.ORG

check out new mexico state university. since you are from colorado you will pay in state tuition, way cheaper than iuon. they don't have waiting lists.

If I go to a four year school in the states I have 3 years of full-time school to get my BSN. If I go to IUON I would have my BSN in 2 years. Since being out of work for 2 years is going to be hard enough, I need to get through school as soon as possible. BTW I have 3 kids and a husband, and I've been a big contributor to our finances. We are sacrificing a lot for me to get through school. My husband and I both feel the quicker the better.

Will you be able to get federal student loans for IUON? They might help you, while your are in school. You can borrow up to 12.5K per year. If this is your first bachelor's degree you are also eligible for federal grants. If you go to NMSU you will have your summers off, when you can work and contribute to the finances of your family. I just shared my thoughts with you. The decision is yours.

UVI does not have an accelerated program.

Can someone tell me how long do I need to stay at IUON for ADN and BSN in st kitts and after that how long I need to be in school in US thanks.

I am so confused and need major help i want to go in sep 09 i have 2 lil girls and dont want to be 100,000 in debt please help me

Hello,

why are you so distressed? I can reccomend D'youville in Buffalo. All you need is 2.5 undergrad GPA to get into the nursing program. If not then go for UVI you get federal financial aid. UVI has their first nursing course offered online during the summer. If you get an A (or A- check their website) you are in for the program. They do have a 2 yr program. I insist they do. Being that it is NLNAC accredited you can take the NCLEX and transfer anywhere, get federal financial aid, etc. Good luck, I hope you figure out what you want soon. I am thinking of UVI if I don't get into Maria College. And if I don't do that I am off to D'youville.

Hey Glitterkitty!!!!

I too was hoping to go to IUON in the fall of 2009. I have 1 daughter and would have to take her with me. I love their program. I would only have 2 years becasue I have to do an extra semester for chemistry and pharmacology. I have been acceeted and everything. The BSN with 42 transfer credits is 1year and 8month. ADN 1year 4 months.

Maybe me and u can chat about the school some more.

Hi, I just attended an info session the other day and I am enthused about possibly attending IUON in fall 09. I applied already, just waiting for transcripts in the mail, then send it off to be evaluated, then everthing will hopefully fall in place. Do any of you have an idea of a ballpark figure of total program cost (with the 42 transferable units so hopefully a year and a half total), housing, food, etc will cost? Any suggestions are helpful!

Im also planing on going in sep 2009 if i can get for their loan. i konw it is expensive but i think it will worth it after graduation. Make a decision and let me know because im also planing on going sept. 2009
