Hello there! This is my very first post, but I've been reading thread after thread for days trying to get some answers for myself. Maybe you can help me?
I am currently living in the Midwest. I just finished my Bachelor's degree in December, and I'm really wanting to enroll in an accelerated 2nd degree BSN program. I looked into UNM's program, but it appears that they only accept residents of New Mexico. Are there any other options?
My guy was just stationed out at Kirtland, and after doing the long distance thing already for quite a while, we're ready to be in the same location. Would I have to live in New Mexico for an entire year in order to gain "residency" before being accepted to one of these schools? All of my research has been so disheartening. My other option is staying in St. Louis and doing an accelerated program, but I'd rather have his support and company through everything. Any suggestions?

Have you taken your Patho I and II, Pharmacology and A&P I and II? If you don't have these pre-reqs, I would advise you to move here and take it through CNM college (it's very cheap), and then apply to UNM. By the time you're done you'll be a resident. Hope this helps
