A&P classes, too full too soon

All my planning for "nice" A&P teachers seems to be for not :o I don't get to register until tommorow at 6AM and all that's left are the "not so nice" ones. - Diane

When I signed up to take A&P, the "good professor" was already full, so I ended up taking the other class. Everyone had told me how terrible the professor was that I was taking, but I took it anyway because I needed it. I am now so glad that I did. The professor that I thought would be so terrible has actually ended up being one of my favorites. I guess I'm just saying not to completely take to heart what other students say, and to hang in there. You never know, the antatomy class that you thought was going to be awful could be your favorite. :p

Diane- I'm glad you got the class you needed. What a relief for you.

Everyone does have different teaching techniques. It is just a matter of finding someone that works for you. I won't elaborate because i don't want our boards to disapear :)

Is anyone else just waiting for this week to be over. I'm ready for new classes. Good luck to everyone on their finals!

I am finished!!! Gosh, that was a crazy semester....just glad I passed A&P 1 lecture and lab on the first try. Hope everyone does/did well on their final exams! Martini Time!

Oh what a relief!!! I can't believe its over. OK well I can't completly relax till I get my grades. I know at the least I got all B's but I'm hoping to pull out an A somewhere. Congrats to everyone. Enjoy the break I know I will.

Amen!! I think I just had my first good night's sleep in weeks with nary a professor lecturing me in my dreams! But I, like you, can never fully relax until those grades come in:) See y'all in 3 weeks!! - Diane

I will be busy but it just can't be worse then taking Micro and A&P 1 over the summer. I'm so happy its over!!!

Now that grades have been posted I can enjoy my break :p I'm taking A&P1 and the lab at the Westside campus, Math 145, Eng 102 and Nut 244 at Montoya. I've never taken any classes at Westside, but I hear it's a very nice campus with easy parking! I'll be there on T-R-F, maybe I'll run into you! - Diane

Quit my job this week. I'll be a full time student!

Now that grades have been posted I can enjoy my break :p I'm taking A&P1 and the lab at the Westside campus, Math 145, Eng 102 and Nut 244 at Montoya. I've never taken any classes at Westside, but I hear it's a very nice campus with easy parking! I'll be there on T-R-F, maybe I'll run into you! - Diane

Hi all!

Is anyone planning on attending UNM? I was just looking at their latest catalog and noticed some (disappointing) pre-req changes, such as the addition of Eng 219 instead of a core area 1 which includes Phil 156 which I took this summer. Also, soc or phil 101 is specifically required instead of whatever core area that was. I guess it's time to see their advisor to see exactly how much time I've wasted :crying2: - Diane

I'm so sorry it is very hard to want to be a nurse these days. I am planning on applying to UNM. After this semester i will start finishing up the rest of my prereqs. It is sad that tvi and unm can't mesh their classes better. I need to see an advisor as well. If I can't get into UNM I'll apply again after the tvi adn program. Good luck to you. Maybe it won't be as bad as you think.
