by AtomicWoman Aug 3, '08I just saw a half-page ad in today's Philadelphia Inquirer for UMDNJ, and I thought I'd post the info for those who don't get the paper.
Apparently, on October 1, UMDNJ is going to become the provider for correctional health care for all NJ DOC inmates. So they are advertising for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, techs, etc. Some of the positions require psych experience, some don't. The jobs are throughout the state. Here's a link:

(Look for jobs under the University Correctional Health Care Department and Facility. I think that a total of 90 jobs will come up for all positions.)Last edit by AtomicWoman on Aug 3, '08

- Mar 27, '09 by AtomicWomanA friend of mine switched from LTC to correctional; she is an LPN. She said the pay and benefits were better at the correctional facility. But I don't have any more information than that. Maybe LPNs can answer your question.
