First of all, congratulations! I will be starting in September and am extremely excited. (and definitely nervous)
I was wondering if any recent grads can give me any insight on the program. How are the instructors? Are the helpful? Is it possible to work part time?
Also, if you plan on furthering your education to receive your RN.. Do you have to start all over to get your RN? I'm not so worried about this or I would have looked into it further. My only worry is that I'm going to have to be put on a waiting list for a few years before I get into an RN program after I graduate from OCVTS. Can you do an LPN-RN bridge from this program?

Thanks for you input and again, congratulations!

Current class graduates in July (program runs Sept to July). There are LPN to RN bridge programs at OCC, Brookdale, Burlington (among others). Each school has their own requirements and you need to contact the schools for specifics, but generally you need to complete your pre-requisites (A&P 1 and 2, English, math, developmental psychology, etc.) prior to admission then take a test to prove nursing competency. OCC only permits you to test out of Nursing 1, Brookdale works their program a little differently. Just be aware that the A& P and nutrition you take in the LPN program is NOT equivalent to the collegiate level A&P and Nutrition required for the AS programs. (However if you complete collegiate level A&P 1/2 and/or nutrition you will be exempted from those classes at OCVTS). Waiting lists are relative.
