Very expensive, limited options for financial aid (no grants, loans--many private loans not subsidized by US gov't).

No matter where you go, it is what you put into your education that matters.

You can check the pass rate of the NCLEX for the school, though it is pretty indicative of the school/students:

  5. My cousin finishes in October she says. She added that the program costs over $20k. I freaked when I heard this. and Like mentioned above....little financial aid.
  6. I visited the school a couple of years ago and wasn't impressed. I took an "entrance exam" so that they could assess my basic skills...the test was ridiculous! They charge a lot for tuition, and the admissions person who I spoke with didn't know the difference between LPN and an APN. After I left, they called me bi-weekly to try and get me to enroll.......even after I told them that I was not interested. Have you visited the "Campus"? It's a small building on the Highway, that could easily be mistaken for a Taco Bell. Eeeeeehhhhhhh not so much.

  7. I don't know about the school in Paramus, but I do go to the school in Edison. I can say that I am learning a lot and I am extremely proud of the accomplishments I made so far. Lincoln Tech does get a bad rep but that is by people who didn't put forth the effort it is far from a walk in the park. You will go through all kinds of emotions the year that you are in school, but remember you get out what you put in. My financial aid was pretty much covered.
  8. I will be starting the daytime lpn program on sep 28th... Is anyone else attending?

  10. Dreinso, I was just accepted into the school today . I was advised there was room for me to start on the 28th . This seems kinda soon . Just a few days . They also told me the next class is December. I think I might be leaning towards this . I just wish I had at least two weeks to prepare .
