It wasn't too much for me, I took a&p1, micro and nure 130 together. I was busting my butt of the whole semester but ended with B+, B and a C+ so not bad considering the material covered. You really need to be able to devote a lot of time to this if you want to take them together, good luck!

for a&p take Sand, she is really good!

Just curious cookie monster how was 131 how did you do. Was it a struggle for you or did you end up with an average that you expected.

131 wasnt that big of a struggle for me, i ended up having a B+ and pretty much kept the same avarage troughout the semester, but 132 is really hard, i need to study more and i dont get grades in 80s anymore. Its really demanding becasue of all the material i lecture and paper work for clinical. Thank goodness for the med cards you can buy, so much less work to do!

Thank you for that information you have been really helpful. It's refreshing talking to someone who is not saying something negative about trinitas. Keep in touch with me if you don't mind b\c I want to know how you do. I have chem this semester which is going very well. I have a&p 1 summer with sand. i had an invite for nure 130 for spring 08 semester, but i deferred it for the fall hopefully i get my invite letter so i can start in the fall.

A quick question. I notice UCC in nj has an lpn program. Does it also have a waiting list? I am on the waiting list for both UCC and Raritian Valley.
    Thanks

no, that doesnt happen anymore because they send out invitations for people to register so there is certain numer of people asked to register, and to register for 131 you have to pass 130

    Hello,
I'm going to register for NUrE 132 soon and they didn't require any new blood titers for me since I've submitted all the requirements before I registered before in 131. Just a question for those in 231 or 232, are we going to be required to have blood titers every year?

No, blood titers are only required once unless you are shown to be susceptible to infection. In that case, you must get the immunization and then repeat your blood work again to show immunity. (This is not required if you had to be re-immunized for varicella, a.k.a. chicken pox).

    Good luck!

Actually, people do still get there really early for registration for 131 if they are trying to get a weekend clinical slot. I had to be there at 5:00am to get mine... After 131 though, you are guaranteed a slot for whichever division you started in. You don't have a choice at that point. Whatever you start with is what you are stuck with for the whole 2 year program. In other words, you cannot switch from weekends to days to nights, etc... Once a day student, always a day student and so forth. No exceptions unless they offer a new section for which they are trying to fill, otherwise you are SOL if your schedule changes.

    hi everyone!

Just disregard the previous message.. I was just testing it out LOL.. Anyway, I was in the Bloomfield nursing program but unfortunately, it didn't work out. SO, I applied for the Trinitas nursing program for the fall 2009, and spoke with the advisor during the spring. She said that in order for me to begin in the fall, I needed UCC credits considering that I am a transfer student. I just finished an art class for Summer I, with a 4.0 gpa. I called UCC-Elizabeth, and asked them since now I have credits with UCC, what I should do from there. She stated that now I have to wait for a letter. But during the time I spoke with the advisor during registration, I basically got ALL pre-req's done and the other courses done...All I have left are literally the Nursing courses.. that's all!! With where I'm at right now, what are my chances of getting in for the fall semester 09 for Nur130?? Is there a long waiting list? Do you think I'll have a chance to start in the fall since I only took one course to earn credits for UCC.... I just want to hear from other people who are in the same position or have been through the same situation as I am in now. Please help!

I was invited into nure 130 my first semester at Trinitas as a transfer student. I was a non nursing major when i transfered in last spring 08. i think i got my letter so soon because I was registered fot the required pre reqs for 130 ap1 and chem 105 . You already have those pre reqs so I am not sure what your wait time will be. From what I have seen there really is no long waiting period. There were quite a few of us that had recvd the letters quicly. I defered until fall of 08 that is when i started 130.
