Updating resume

I need some advice on updating and improving my resume. I haven't worked in 10 years and I know the lingo for nursing has changed some what. Example: I was a "team leader" on a floor. Do they still call it that? I don't want to sell myself short in my experience, but I don't want to look outdated either. Any ideas would really be appreciated.

I think team leader is different everywhere (ours is resource nurse) but anyone reading your resume will get the idea. When I was making my resume I googled nurse resume and a lot of pre-written resumes came up, also when writing my blurb under title I went to monster.com and searched for a similar job and used their job description as a templet to say what mine was.

In a related subject - have you attended a refresher? Things are definitely different than 10 years ago in that respect also.

I have thought about a refresher class especially with the CEU's that are required. Could kill 2 birds with one stone. I guess I should look at one of community colleges to see what they offer. Got any other ideas? I just got approval for my NJ license today so I'm excited about finding a job!! YAHOO
