Hi All,

First time user on allnurse.com. I wanted to join this discussion to hopefully meet some of my fellow classmates. I received my acceptance letter today from UMDNJ for the stratford campus ABSN program that starts in the summer. YEAH!!!!! I'm very excited and I have to say the letter came pretty fast. I submitted my application through nursingcas around Jan 16th. I wasn't expecting to hear anything until after the extended application deadline...Has anyone else been accepted for the stratford summer term yet?

Hi! Congrats!! I have also been accepted to the Stratford summer term. We will be classmates :) I am so excited to start! Do you know when orientation starts?

Hey! Congrats to you as well.I'm not sure when the orientation is. It took me awhile to find out online when the first day of classes are, lol. Do you plan on participating in the NALC program? Are you nervouse at all? I hope the workload isn't too overwhelming.

Lol it took me a while to find the first day of class on the web too and I could not find the orientation date anywhere haha I hope they let us know soon. I would really like to participate in the NALC program. It sounds like it would be very beneficial and will make the transition a little easier. Are you doing the NALC program? Do you know when it starts? I also hope the coursework is not too overwhelming . Hopefully after the first semester we will be used to he pace and workload :)

I highly recommend doing the nalc program. It gives you a head start with a lot of stuff you kearn in level one. It can be a little tedious and dry, but I promise once youre in school you'll be glad you did it. The course load is just as much, if not more than you'll expect, but definitely do able if you keep up with the readings. Going into it with tge right mindset will give you an advantage.
