My old company worked with St Barnabas and whenever we had to go there all the employees were pretty happy, no one ever complained, and the working environment seemed nice.
I have heard St Barnabas is definitely one of the better systems to work for.
Good Luck! :)

Hi, I work at Newark Beth Israel, which is part of SBHCS. I love it there. The benefits are great and the staff is very helpful. St. Barnabas was voted a top employer by AARP.

I also work at Newark Beth Isreal Medical Center which is part of the system and started as a new grad through their intern program. That program made the transition from student to primary nurse very easy. I do suggest getting into an intern program wherever you decide to work.

I'm going for an interview at Monmouth Medical (St. Barnabas system) for a behavioral health postion as a new grad. Do you know anything about the tuition forgiveness?
Thanks,

one of my friends started there as a new grad and LOVES it. she says the orientation is great and she has been learning so much.
i interviewed there and was offered a position, though i had to turn it down b/c i ended up living in philly. but i got a great feeling from the hospital and everyone i encountered, and would definitely have taken the job if i had not moved from the area.

It's great to see such good posts about St. Barnabas. I am a new grad and have recently given them my resume. So, I'm waiting to hear back from them. I've heard good things from former patients and families and now employees---yay! :loveya:
