Nursing in NJ vs PA

  1. 0 Hello all,

I'm a licensed LPN in PA currently, but before now I had commuted to NJ for work for forever...I'm right on the river in PA. So I was just wondering....

How hard is it to attain a NJ license while licensed in PA?

Is it worth getting the license to work over there?

Is the pay better, worse or pretty much equal?

Any answers would be extremely helpful.

It would probably be worth it, since you can look at more job openings later on. The other stuff, no idea.

Pay is much better than PA. At one of my facilities, I have nurses that commute from PA to NJ because the pay is significantly higher and worth the commute.
