The few that I knew of hired from within (previously worked as a CNA in the facility). Those that hired new grads without experience stopped doing so because of issues with skills, reliability, attitude of those that were chosen to be hired as new grad LPN's. The best you can do is to make the best resume you can and try to sell yourself. Most nursing homes prefer in person applications so get some good resume paper, write a great introduction in a cover letter and dress professionally
Another option is to try some of the private duty home health agencies. There are quite a few in the Ocean-Monmouth-Burlington area. Some are willing to give a new grad a chance. These are often non-benefited jobs but they give you a foot in the door with work experience.
