Nursing homes, sub-acute rehab, long term care, federally qualified health clinics (more likely if you are bilingual), some home health agencies, physician office (though rare). Other home health, staffing & private duty agencies require experience. Surgicenters & occupational health will hire LPN's but only with nursing experience.
nursing homes, subacute, long term they all want you to have experience... md's offices might hire you but their soooo cheap starting at 17.00 and thats a joke.... try homecare descent pay for starts and they might hire you....
where in south or central nj do they hire new grad lpns??
I know right!!! I have applied to almost every job I can find on-line, all the nursing homes, assisted living, MD offices etc within a 2 hour driving range from where I live, and still nothing... This is depressing
I totally understand where you're coming from. I graudated from a LPN school two years and I have yet to find a position. The one good thing to come out of it was the advanced placement at my local community college. I was able to test out of the first year of their nursing program and I am graduating in May.
