I got a call to set up an interview at holy name school of nursing in Teaneck NJ. Not too sure what to expect. Does anyone have any advice? or recall any types of questions they asked? any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hey, I was contacted by mhson for an interview last week, just waiting on the decision... did you hear back from holy name yet ?

I interviewed over a week ago for Holy Name. Has anyone heard anything yet? If so, how long did it take to get an answer from the time you interviewed.

Thank you!!!

Hey, I am currently a student at Holy Name- I figured I'd shoot you guys some info. HNMC does require a "64" on the TEAS but its not set in stone, what they look at is your Reading and Writing section, if you can shine through those sections you're in! As for the interview, it really does depend on which program. Day and Evening may have the same curriculum but they are both very different. Evening is extremely challenging, the instructors expect a lot, and if they don't get whats asked they'll give you the boot. The day program is more understanding, however, at the end of the day- all that matters is that you pass your NCLEX, and unfortunately its human nature to learn through tough love. Both programs, evening and day are exceptional. Between clinical hours and simulation labs, you really do learn. Its amazing how much knowledge could be gained in a year. Its a tough school but anyone can do it. If you're able to put everything on hold and focus on nursing for just one year, you'll be fine. Hope this helped- good luck!

Does holy name have LPN to run in the evening?

LPN to Rn...*

I know this is a late post I was just reading through some, what school did you end up going to?
