Words to the wise

by edgwow

If you work in Pennsylvania, and live in New Jersey, Whatever you do, DO NOT let your New Jersey Lisence lapse. You never know when you will need it.
My spouse had to pay $480 to get his lisence reinstated after it lapsed because he worked in Philadelphia and had a valid PA liscence. You have to pay for every year since the lapse. Not worth it, I'd rather pay as we go than choke up such a large sum all at once.
It delays looking for work in NJ since the process takes at least a month through the NJ state board of Nursing, and another 3 weeks for fingerprinting.
