Requirements from board of nursing in NJ to work as an LPN


Does anyone know why New Jersey board nursing does not recognize completion of a professional nursing program as an equivalent or substitued qualification for practical nursing education requirement?

As in PA, BON views the programs as 2 distinct levels of education and scope of practice with LPN role not taught in RN program; concern one might practice outside LPN scope of practice.
