PA LPN needs help getting NJ license....

Updated Jun 18, 2007 at 04:09 PM by NRSKarenRN

Hi, I'm new to New Jersey and need to apply for a NJ LPN license. I have an active license in Pennsylvania already and would like to keep it. I am under the impression that all I need to do is apply for a license and pay the fee, but how do I start? Is there anyone who knows a web site where I can get the application/information or even a phone number to call?
Thank you.

Hi newly married. All I did was write to the NJ board of Nursing with my LPN license number and my SS# and told them when I passed the boards and that I wanted a license in both states. They sent me the application and all of the instructions. I paid a fee but you have work to do such as getting the high school transcripts etc. Good luck. Shull
