Need info on Bergen RMC!

bergen county is one of the highest price areas for housing. bergen regional medical center was previously a state hospital that was bought out by a private company. It was known as Bergen Pines. As usual, staffing was cut and there are many cost cutting efforts. The staff is made up mostly of agency nurses. it is predominately a psych hospital with specific units for geriatric, mica, adolescent, children, ltc, outpatient. it has a small med surge floor and an e/r (which is staffed with 98% agency). Pay is actually on the lower scale for most surrounding hospitals. having said that, if you get onto a great unit, you may love it.
