hello. i work with an agency that puts that on our paychecks.{its a state deduction, so they say, that helps with the physicians malpractice insurance} has anybody ever heard of the state law that takes 3.00 every year from health care workers to help docs help with their malpractice insurance? my other jobs dont take that out from my checks each year, only that agency. worse still, i never heard of that law. the payroll manager said its only $3 but heck,im thinking no body helps me pay my malpractice insurance. any info appreciated thanx
