LPN Programs IN NJ

Did anyone hear about the new NJ State mandate that says that LPN programs can not have more than 40 students in a school in a calender year?

NJ Board of Nursing regulations stipulate that no more than 10 students may be supervised in the clinical area by one instructor.

So if school only has 4 clinical instructors, can only accept 40 students.

Most nursing programs have adjunct clinical instructors. These instructors do not normally teach in the classroom setting but are contracted by the school to take on 10 students in the clinical setting.
