Which hospital is better for canadian ICU RN?

Hi, I am a Canadian nurse who is relocating to NJ. I have worked in MS/NICU for 2 years+1 year of maternity leave. We are relocating into the area of Summit or Morristown. I will probably look for an ICU in Morristown Memorial /Summit Overlook Hosp/Saint Barmabas or working with an agency. My questions are:
1. Which hospital is consider better and why? Is the staff friendly?
2. Is it worth it to become an agency nurse? Why?
3. How hard is it to get in?
4. What are the typical salaries?
5. What is a per diem nurse?

Any additional tips will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Katia.
