Well princeton has it's own hospital which we all call Princeton Hospital but I think it's official title is Princeton Healthcare System. (http://www.princetonhcs.org/default.aspx)

There's capital health in Trenton (which isn't far either) - capitalhealth.org

It all depends on which part of Princeton you're moving to. Princeton is a very expensive place to live (difficult to find homes less than $800,000) so I hope you're prepared for NJ sticker shock.

I have to vote for Monmouth and Ocean counties... that's where I grew up, and am returning to! You're right near the beach, New York City, and far away from the industrial areas. The schools are pretty good, and rent isn't too bad. Check out Meridianhealth.com and sbhcs.com.... they are the two largest healthcare systems in the state. I used to work for meridian at Riverview Medical Center and loved their ICU. Jersey Shore University Medical Center has a great open heart program with several excellent ICU's including CTICU, MICU, and STICU......Best of luck!

I'd stay stay out of north jersey. It's outrageously expensive to live there, so Mercer, Hunterdon, Monthmouth, Ocean counties and southward are the cheapest. I like where I live (a little south of Trenton). I can get to Philadelphia in about 35 minutes, NYC in an hour by train, the beach is 45 minutes away, the mountains are an hour away, Washington D.C. is about 2 hours and a great day trip, Baltimore is an hour and a half and also a great day trip. Plus it's still rural enough to where northerners haven't penetrated too much into and housing rates are still reasonable with reasonable tax rates.

I didn't know that you weren't living stateside yet. That's probably going to be the biggest turn-off for an employer is the fact that you don't live here right now and couldn't immediately start right away.
