HCR Manor Care

I worked there for a week. they expect way too much from their nurses. you have to do meds and tx on at least 15 residents, its back breaking work for very low pay (19.25/hr) They said I failed my background check (investigating this) but yet they worked me for a week solid before firing me. I am so glad to be out of there. It was a nightmare. they call you at all hours to work even though you have already worked that day. Some have to work 16 hour shifts. its brutal. If you are going to work there~~~~~my prayers are with you.

I've heard nothing but bad stuff about them, but that's only gossip -- I have no first-hand experience.

Also have only run across negative feedback about them. The facility where I used to live was advertising for employees and I noted that they offered a fairly decent salary at the time. But their ads were continuous. Continuous ads tell me that a facility can't keep workers, and there must be a reason why.

Darn! They are building a new facility 10 minutes from my home. I was hoping to apply there in May....
