GCC Nursing Program

Updated Apr 29, 2008 at 10:41 PM by dianah

Anyone out there currently in the GCC Nursing program? If so, can you give me any "inside" advice as to what to expect? Cost? The books I will need, as well as how many? How many study hours per day? Are there any clinicals in Nursing 1? I am very excited to have been accepted but also extremely nervous! All of my pre reqs are done, so I can focus on just the Nursing stuff, as well as my child, and full time job (yeah I know, i'm in for it). I would like to have an idea of how much time (if any) free time you are left with? I know my life is pretty much going to be Nursing School for the next 2 years, and I can definitely deal with that. I would just like to have an idea as to what I am in for? Thank you VERY much in advance!
Please PM me with any information.

Lisa

You are brave... I don't even want to know what books are going to cost. It will just stress me out!

Are you in the full time or part time program? When do you start? I start July 11th.
