Hi I am currently in the lpn program at dover business college. I am in my fourth month with only 11 more to go! All LPN programs are very intense. Most people just work on the weekends because so much time is required for studying and such.Start saving now so in sept. you won't be so focused on $ and remember that it is only 15 months at this school and then you'll be fine. Be prepared to give up your social life for this time. It is all worth it! Good luck and go for it

See NJ Forum....under the LPN Thread

This is what I wrote
Watch out for the newer LPN programs that are starting up in NJ. I went for an interview with Dover and they did not have the sites for the Clinical portion of the program set up!!! I was told "Oh we're still working out the details" I looked into all the programs that are available in Northern NJ....Allied....Ho-Ho-Kus, they all seemed 2nd rate. I went to Holy Name and found out that this program has been around for more than 25 years. They have only one class at a time. I applied and I hope to start in Sept.
I really did my home work about what is out there, NCLEX pass rates etc. and Holy Name seems the VERY BEST by far

Good LUCK TRY HOLY NAME

LOOK AT THE NCLEX PASS RATES

Yeah there's another school by the Dover Business College. There are classes held in the Dover Medical Building. I used to live in Parsippany which is literally 5 min away from Dover. Its a really nice town. Anyways, its called (AHTI) Ace Healthcare Training Institute. I took their CNA program 3 yrs ago and absolutely loved it! The teachers were excellent! Very inspiring.
My friend had told me that she is on the waiting list for the LPN program. Personally, I attended CCM (county college of morris) but if i were to do it all over again.. i would of joined them! Anyways good luck..hope that helps.

Dover Business College is a new program and we were there first class. All of our clinicals are set up and we are out there doing them. The teachers have very high standards in the class and in the clinical. They want us to be top of the line LPN's. Give the business part a chance it is there first year. Our class is soaring!
