I took the net i am waiting to find out how i did. I was wondering if anyone else found they needed more time to complete the reading comprehension portion? I also was unable to ans. the remaining 7 questions on the math portion.I wish i had not read the paragraphs twice:(:crying2:

I didn't finish the reading comp portion, and had a few math problems left. I did much better than I thought! If I remember correctly, St. Joe's sends your results fairly quickly (couple of weeks?) If you have all your references and transcripts in, they'll send you the admission packet along with the results (as long as you passed!) I started at Sr. Joes this September. Fasten your seatbelt! It's gonna be quite a ride!

Do you live close to St Joes? Is that the RN program that they just started?

Pasha :)

No, the RN program is still waiting approval from the state. I'm in the LPN program. The RN program will also require a minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN.

Oh, so it is an lpn-rn transition program? Do you live close to the school?

Yes, according to what those of us in the current LPN program have been told, it will be a full time LPN-RN transition program. As far as I know, they will still be continuing the same LPN program.

I live about about 40 minutes from school.

Are you thinking about going to St. Joes?

Well I applied to NHCTC-Claremont and feel pretty good about getting in but just in case. I live in the Upper Valley and St Joes may be a long haul for me...I'll have to think more about this in the Spring when I hear from NHCTC. I really want an RN program but...

So you do all of your clinicals right there?

Is Claremont near Keene? St. Joes has a program in Keene. Its a full time program and much quicker than the Nashua program.

I believe the prerequisite of the RN program will be 1 year LPN experience.

Finally :) Clinicals arent just at St. Joesphs hospital. They are at many places including Southern NH Med Center.

Hope this helps :)
