Nursing instructor positions

    Hello Everyone

I was just wondering if anyone in the new hampshire area could give me some advice on nursing instructor positions. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program with almost one year as an RN in cardiac surgery. I hope to someday be able to teach nursing students, preferably in the clinical setting. I am trying to get my hand in teaching now, although you have to be a nurse for 3 years before you can teach in NH. I also heard of teaching LNA's which is something I would love to do since I was an LNA for 3 years prior to becoming a nurse, however in NH you are required to have two years long term care experience as an RN to teach (need direct experience with the chronically ill). This kind of fustrates me because I deal with chronically ill patients all the time, but no acute care experience matters when it comes to being an LNA instructor in NH. I have reached out to nursing programs in my area looking to volunteer or help out in labs, but there aren't really any needs right now.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how I could get into teaching in the nursing field? I know I don't have much experience yet, but I'd be willing to volunteer or tutor nursing students like I did in my undergrad.

Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance!
