I'm an almost graduated ARC LNA. I don't think I'm ready or really want to go on to my RN (mostly due to the 2-3 yr wait at GBBC). NHTI Concord LPN program is booked till spring '11. My only other option (still a 1 hr drive) is HCTA/NESPN in Manchester, NH.
Please talk to me about that school and it's LPN program. I've heard serious mixed reviews and I don't want to dish out my hard earned money for an under par program.
Also, is it wise to go for my LPN immediately, or should I work LNA till I can get into GBBC RN program (which could potentially be 3 years)? The tuition for the LPN program seems to be almost equivalent to what one year at GBBC would be so I wouldn't be spending any more. After the LPN I'd eventually hop into the GBBC program and only have one year to do to complete my RN.
Thoughts? Someone please talk me through this! It's such a big decision!!
Thanks,
Virginia
