- Nov 6, '12 by christina731So I just drove all the way across town to pay for my drug screen at the west charleston cashier only to find out that they do not accept credit/debit cards in person, only on MyCSN. Do yourself a favor if you're paying with credit/debit and do not drive all the way over there. Luckily I had cash on me so I wasn't too mad but I still drove across town for nothing! I don't understand why they let you pay for the TEAS there with a card but not the darn drug screen. Ugh... :/
- Nov 6, '12 by soontobern2015Quote from SunshineDaisyIm sure its gone be times like that for me also wanting to quit but take it and strive ! 4 senesters of intensity and a long term career , My saying if they can do it I CAN DO IT! Im so ready for the challenge .... I know its not a walk in the park but it will be later once your done and a reg nurse!!!I am FT, in 3rd semester! The material is still difficult in all the semesters, but you get better at thinking critically! We have been thrown a few curve balls, but have survived so far
I have to say Med Surge and OB have been my most favorite classes! I learned so much in Med Surge, and in OB, I LOVE L&D. it's hard, but also fun. I have made some excellent friends during this process and I know they will be lifelong friends. A few of us have been together, in every class, the last 3 semesters, and we have so much fun! I won't lie, there have been times I have cried and threatened to quit, but I'm still tuggin along!SunshineDaisy likes this. - Nov 6, '12 by soontobern2015Quote from christina731I went to cheyenne thank goodness it was close to my house , but thats crazy because cheyenne accepts credit but not debit ... - Nov 6, '12 by LindaFDI asked if the "don't register for classes applies to the toolbox class and they said no- it's fine to register for the toolbox 😃
- Nov 6, '12 by SunshineDaisyWell, in my first semester I had ----------, and he said 75% white, but thats him! Other teachers will say completely white. Your 3rd week in ACE you will wear your uniform and your teacher will look over it to make sure everything is good. They will tell you what is ok for them or not!Last edit by dianah on Nov 7, '12 : Reason: Terms of Service re: posting names
- Nov 6, '12 by christina731Quote from TylerDCAs far as I know, no one on this thread has mentioned a Facebook group but I wouldn't mind joining one. I will look into making one. I've never had a Facebook group so I'm not sure how it worksI got accepted into the spring 2013 program. so excited to start! Going into it blind though, glad I tried researching the program itself and found this thread, so much information that it's nice to get a jump start on. I had no idea about this toolbox course! I signed up for the one in December, going to wait until orientation to sign up for the one in January.
I was curious if there was a facebook group for the spring 2013 course yet, and if someone could link me if there was.
- Nov 6, '12 by SunshineDaisyThe FB groups are awesome! just make sure, whoever the admins are, monitors it. We have about 70 students on our group, and it's super helpful! Just no posting test questions/answers, stuff like that. Someone will rat you out and you will get in trouble! It's common sense but sometimes people forget!
