Hello All!

Has anyone on here applied to the ABSN at USN for the July 2011 cohort? I applied a few weeks ago, and I am just waiting to hear when my interview date will be. Just curious if anyone else has received an interview date yet or been accepted/denied yet?

I got my acceptance email today! And school starts on the 11th.

Oh and yes I am coming from California too, near Monterey. It's gonna be tough to get it all set up, but I am getting excited to start!

Congrats!!!!! That's great!!!! I figure they will have to let me know soon with Orientation on the 20th and school about 1 month away.... Have you decided on apt or house and what area yet?

Ya u should hear soon, especially if all ur transcripts are in. Ya we have 12 days until orientation. Would u be driving or flying there?

My boyfriend and I will Be moving into an apartment. It's right next to the 215 I think, so just a couple exits from campus.

Make sure u let us know if u get in! It would be good to know people before school starts. We can be study buddies or something!!! Hehe

Oh that would be great!!! Cali friends and study buddies!!! I'm pretty sure all my transcripts are in by now or they would have mentioned missing items.... Will definitely let you know as soon as I find out!!!

YES!!!! Just heard today! Will definitely see you on the 20th for Orientation. Getting exciting now! I will be driving, since I have to find place to live and from LA it's not that far.

YEAH!!!! Ya the drive is not to bad. I have to fly cause from Monterey it is a 9 hour drive. I can PM u if u wanna know some good apartments. Or u can PM me and let me know if u want the info.

Will be driving so I can have a flexible schedule "to and from". Have to find a place to live and be back to work by Wed morning and all that jazz..... He! he!

Congrats to both of you on getting in! I am looking into applying for the October cohort. Have you guys talked to the CA BRN about coming back to CA to take the NCLEX and get your lisc here? I know the CA board wont take some schools, and before I spend 14 months in vegas, I want to be sure I can get back to LA. =-)

Also, what did they say about schedules? Will we be in class and clinical 5 days a week? HOw mush of it is truly "online" from home?

I have a great deal to tell you about the program. What specifically would you like to know about? Are you looking to apply? Do you want honest info on how the program works etc. I could best tell you via private message....I'll try to PM you. I am half way through. We started with 42 and now have 19 left in our cohort....
