Hi everyone!

I saw a couple of thread regarding Roseman's nursing program but most of them are dated from 2012 or so. Anyways, I was curious if there is anyone currently in the 18 month program and how do they like it so far. I'm going to be starting there this August and just wanted to hear from current students.

I wanted to say hi, since I will be starting there this August as well :) I too am looking for input from current students of the 18-month program.

Which program did you apply for? Did you interview in April?

I submitted my application for the traditional BSN program but missed the April interview deadline since I'm located out of state and could not make it.

Apparently there's another interview in May which I'm waiting to hear back on.

opx322: I applied for the traditional BSN program, which is the 18-month one. I actually interviewed in March. I was told they usually interview up to May, but sometimes they extend the application deadline (like they did last year).

What was the interview like? One on one or group? Was there a tour before or after the interview?

I got invited to interview in May and I'm deciding since I have to fly in

It was a one on one interview. Or rather, two on one. I was interviewed by two professors, although it could be either that or a professor and a current student. They basically asked questions regarding these topics (from the RUHS website): "leadership, motivation, team skills, problem solving skills, professionalism, and compassion." Also, prior to the interview, they have you write a response to a prompt for 15 minutes. There was a tour after the interview.

How long was it?

Nice to meet you! :) I got my email and login info a few days ago. But I can't seem to verify my account in the self service portal (yet?), so I will have to call about that.

How long was it?

I don't remember how long my interview took, probably 20 minutes or so. We were all given a time to meet on campus. They took the whole group into a room (probably close to 30-40? might be misremembering), the admissions reps did their presentation giving an overview of RUHS, the financial aid counselor did a presentation on fin. aid, then they started interviews in 5 or 6 different side rooms. After everyone was done with the interviews, they took us on a tour. The whole thing including tour took a little less than 4 hours if I remember correctly.

I got accepted approximately 2-3 weeks after the interviews (mine was in March). Can't wait to meet my new classmates though!

Do they split the cohort for August into 2? 65-70 seems awfully high unless there's a high drop out rate

Mine just verified like 2 days ago. Takes like a week for your info to hit the system. Did roseman get all your info from studentloans.gov yet? They still haven't received mine
