Hello,

Moving to the Reno area to be closer to my family who lives there. My mom just had a heart attack. I work in Home Health and would like to continue this. I've seen several job postings online, but am not familiar with the companies.

Has anyone heard of Brightstar, Gentiva, St Mary's HH or Alliance HH? Any imput is appreciated!

I have seen lots of posts on the NV forum for people trying to relocate there and get decent info on jobs in NV, like me. It looks like about 95% of them go unanswered. I realize the job market in NV is patchy, and there is a recession and everybody should be grateful for a job... I am one of them, and would like to be employed in NV. No thanks to any of you.

Why is it that these types of posts for information are ignored by you locals? Are you strongly independent people who stick to yourselves and shun outsiders? Are you protecting jobs for locals? Will finding gainful employment in NV require knowing somebody who knows somebody just because I am not a local? What gives?
