I am finishing my MSN, and am taking a course on immigrant health issues. As one of my assignments, I need to conduct a 1/2 hour interview with a provider of health services to an immigrant population. Since Las Vegas has such a large hispanic/ latino population, I was hoping to identify someone who could spare some time to talk to me!
My problem is that it seems that there are SO FEW services for this population! I've searched the phone book and the internet and called hospitals . . .no luck. I've called the Clark Co. Health District and sent out a few e-mails, but no responses thus far. Does anyone here know of any service providers I can contact for a potential 1/2 hour interview? Any help is greatly appreciated! I'd also be willing to drive outside of Las Vegas to do the interview, so if there are services in outlying areas I'd be interested in those as well.
Thanks for your time.

If it's not too late, I am aware of a new Hispanic Program at Desert Rose Hospital, here in Vegas. You could call and ask for the Diversity Program Director ( I forgot her name...lol). Their number is listed on their website www.desertspringshospital.net
. Hope this helps.
