Another Drug Book that isn't seen alot is Delmar Nurse's Drug Handbook. I find it much more informative that Mosby's. If you are interested in it you can view it here: http://www.cengage.com I just purchased their new volume for 2011. I like it also because it has references on common herbal medications, a section on Therapeutic drug classifications, Histamine H2 Antagonists, Narcotic Analgesics, Neuromuscular Blocking Agents, Anti-Inflammatory Drugs, Oral Contraceptives, Vaccines etc. It also has teaching with each medication listing. The book is great.

I really like Davis (haven't seen the 2011 of any publisher). But I also got the Davis Online version for my Ipod Touch. Marvelous!

I tried to go through nursing school with my Mosby, and then when I saw the Davis, I dumped my Mosby fast. Davis is a whole other species of drug book and really has what you want to know for your drug cards.

Micromedex is FREE in the app store for apple and it's by Thomson Reuters. It is what a lot of the pharmacists/docs use. Once you get used to the format it is actually an amazing tool compared to (and rivals) some of the apps you pay for.

Yeah I got the Davis, the Mosby, and the Pearson drug guides along with the Mosby Distionary and Taber Dictionary. I have a total of 15 books now. Can't wait to lug them all around for group study sessions.
    I'm curious...

A year later, which of the three do you prefer? If you have time, I'd love to know what you feel are the pro's and con's of each. Thanks!

The Pearson. I initially had the 2011, and I just bought the 2012. I love it.
