Tima,

If your sciences are less than 7 years old they should transfer. If you go to the CSN website and search for the RN program it'll tell you everything you need. Everything is worth points, and the more points you have the better. You need english 101, psychology, bio 189, math 120 or 100B (those are the classes they count for your GPA, so have good grades there) and then your AP 1&1, microbiology, speech gives you points, you Nevada history and constitution and your TEAS all give you points so you'll want everything done before you apply!

Hi everyone! I am a hopeful for Spring 2014. This thread has been incredibly helpful! :)

I have a question for current nursing students. For the full time track , is it just like other regular CSN classes when it comes to the dates. Do Spring classes end around mid may and Fall in mid december. Also once you are in and go to the 2 initial orientations, are there any other orientations you have to attend during the summers or are summers completely off for full time track?

I'm full time and i just started 2nd semester. Yes, the dates for the semesters are the same as all other non-nursing classes but the kicker is that the instructors email you before the semester starts to have you complete assignments that are due on the first day. In nursing 115 (medsurg I), you even have a math test on the first day of clinical depending on what day yours is on, it might be on the very first day of school! So for me, the very end of my summer was super busy. I did have a hospital orientation the week before classes began which was on campus, but some people had their orientation at the hospital earlier in the summer. So if you're planning on going away for the entire summer or something, that may not work. I'll find out in a few months if they make you do stuff over Christmas break. Maybe SunshineDaisy can answer that question :)

Thanks for all the great info. I was planning on possibly being gone June and July but I would be here all of August so I wanted to know if there was any way that would work, but thanks for the heads up christina731!
