Best places to live in or near Vegas ?

U.S.A. Nevada

My family and i are thinking about possibly moving to the Las Vegas area depending on if i get accepted into a nursing school there. Can anyone tell me where would be the best areas to live ? I've heard Henderson, it seems a bit pricey though. Condos in the north area are relatively inexpensive. I have two young ones so good schools and minimal crime is essential. Any advice would be great.:wink2:

Hi,

If you are going to Touro or USN then you can consider Henderson because these two universities are in Henderson. If you are looking for good schools and 0 crime area than i will never suggest you to move to north. if you are planning to go to CSN , consider southwest part of the valley and summerlin. Summerlin is bit expensive, i found my place on craigslist.com, you can always negotiate for the rent. if you need any help let us know we all are here and if you want pm me.

Best of Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:up::yeah:

I would definitely say that Henderson/Green Valley area is the best. Its not that expensive either. There are some areas of Henderson that are more expensive than others but its still relatively affordable.

I used to live on the north side of town near summerlin and my car got broken into 3 times so that really sucked. :(
