I hear that if u take a "refresher course" to become current that CCSN has such an animal. Try there! A girl in my CPR class was in it & told me about it.

I took the refresher course at CCSN. I didn't complete it however because I wasn't required to take it in the first place. I took it on my own because after 15+ years as a pediatric nurse I wanted to "refresh" my knowledge of adult med-surg nursing. However, I ended up moving to Boulder City and landing a wonderful job at an Assisted Living facility and have been there for two years. I did complete all the course work and may still have my assignments to share with you if you like. I didn't learn much unfortunately and the part that I really didn't like but never had to do (fortunately!) was the practical. 12 weeks working for "free" like a student nurse all over again and one of the local hospitals! No thanks. Happy to share any info you might need

I work in Boulder City but currently we are not hiring. We have myself RN and my boss Director of Health Services another RN and a LPN. But you never know, what are your qualifications? Where do you currently work?

Oh, I'm just a lowly student. I won't graduate until May. Just wondering if there are positions to be had outside of Las Vegas. I'd rather not live in the city if possible. So finding something outside of it would be nice.

Are you in RN or LPN school and how much time left??? What area of specialty are you looking for? There's many places besides the hospital

I'm in an RN program - I'll graduate in May. I want to work in Telemetry, but with no experience, I'm wondering how feasible this would be. Thanks for asking.
