She's gone, huh? That's good to hear...there were a few people in my class that were pretty upset to be that close to graduating and suddenly being told that their chem credits or whatever weren't being honored.
I almost had a similar issue with my credits from CCSN pop up after I submitted my grad packet, simply because I hadn't taken the "official" chem class required. Instead, I had taken the two-semester chem sequence for chem majors, two semesters of o-chem, and 1 semester of biochem. It got cleared up, but still involved a bit of bureaucratic bs.
To the OP, it sounds like things have improved in this regard with the SON advising, but I would still advise you to keep o top it even after you are accepted. First step is to get your credits accepted by UNLV. Then, once your in, you will have to talk to the SON pre-nursing advisor to iron out exactly what you will need to enter the nursing program.
