Default Re: NOVICE NURSE PAY
I had 1 year experience in CCU last august when I began working in Las Vegas. My starting wage was 29.33 hr.
To give you fair warning, really check out the hospitals. I came from Ohio and it was a huge shock down here. Check out each hospitals HCAPS scores and I do not think there is 1 magnet hospital in the entire state of Nevada. Most Las Vegas hospitals are for profit. And the work is not plentiful down here either a lot of residents are transient and Vegas is really feeling the economy.
If I may suggest check out living in the city as well as the hospitals because it is a great place to visit but, to live here is another story. Working here as a nurse is even worse!
Good Luck.
