NLN exam for CSN - what to study?

The NLN exam for entrance into CSN has chemistry and physics questions on it. How is somebody suppose to pass that entrance exam if they aren't required to take chemisty and physics as a prereq into the course? If we don't take chemistry then the questions can't be known. So what's the deal with the NLN exam? What is the pass ratio?

I purchased the study guide book from the book store. It had a review for each section, practice problems, and explanations.

I don't know why the test covers physics (I had a lot of electricity quesitons on mine about amps and ohms!). None of those classes are a prerequisite for nursing school, but they have been testing with that for years, so I would recommend buying the book, and reading up on the info on the physics and such that is offered. It helped me.

Good luck to you.

I bought extra book for physics, but did'nt get chance to read it. when i took my test 2 years ago, most of math and science part was from study guide , some questions were exactly from the study guide. My suggestion is read the book and look online for physics or chemistry. and don't forget to do practice test from study guide. I was not able to finish english part because of vocabulary(hardest part for me). Ok best of luck, if u have any question u know where to go ------------------WWW.ALLNURSES.COM

I cannot remember exactly, but i think most of the science part was from study guide. the hardest part was physics, but make sure you dont just read but know all the stuff. i just got 108 points, but accepted into the program.
Best of luck!!!
