New grad rn in las vegas, nevada

Yeah, I figured that. I actually recently moved to Vegas from Massachusetts for my boyfriend who relocated for a job, so moving isn't really an option for me. Guess I may resort to flipping burgers after all! Just kidding.... maybe.

First of all, congratulations on graduating! When it's so hard to find a job because we are new grads it is easy to forget the accomplishment. I feel the same way though- I'm lucky to get a rejection email. And on top of it all I hear that after 6 months in Vegas you are not considered a new grad anymore, so you're not eligible for a new grad position AND you still may not have any experience. I mean, there is not ONE new grad program out here and EVERY position requires at least one year I feel stuck. And the worst part is that I KNOW I am a dedicated employee and a good nurse. The only problem is no one cares to give me a chance.
