Moving To Northern Nevada

Renown said none of the unit managers will hire students from a school they are unfamiliar with. Maybe the situation will change once the Apollo school here starts sending clinical rotations to Renown. I understand why a manager would not want to hire from a school that could have taught me anything (Enough to pass the NCLEX ). I could have had a job in Vegas but I wanted to try a change in scenery. Oh well.

I will find out more information. My husband works at Renown and his supervisor is one of the nursing directors but he also works closely with some of the the hiring managers. I will find out more and post soon.
