Default paper
What are you looking for in relation to med errors? Might explain why your previous candidates backed out?

Default med error
It depends on if you are a charge nurse or a staff nurse. If you are a staff nurse the questions are
1.What did you learn about med errors in the nursing program?
2.What are your beliefs about the cause and frequency of med errors?
3.How often do you belive nurses do not report a med error and what are the reasons?
4. Can you tell me about a medication on your nursing unit?
5. What is the procedure when a med error occurs?
6.What do you feel would be the most helpful info to a new grad to prevent or lower the incidence of med errors?
7.How are med errors used to continuously improve the care of their clients?
8.Does your facility have a computerized med cart, and do you think that helps?
If you are a charge nures the questions are
1. What is the frequency of medication errors in your
area of responsibility?
2. What are the nursing responsibilities when an error
occurs?
3. Have you had to develop educational plans or give
letters of counseling because of medication errors?
4. What hospital committee makes decisions concerning
medication errors?
5. What advice do you have for new graduate nurses?
6. How are medication errors traced by nursing to find
causes and improve client care?
7.Does your facility have a computerized med cart, and do you think that helps?
