las vegas ER's

WHAT ARE THE BEST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS IN VEGAS AND SURROUNDING AREA. I AM DEFINITELY OVER THE TRAUMA NURSE THING AND IM LOOKING TO MAINLY TAKE CARE OF MEDICAL CASES. ID LIKE TO HEAR WHAT ALL OF MY FELLOW R.N.'S THINK OF THEIR E.R. AND ANY CONTACT NAMES AND NUMBERS SO THAT I CAN GET THIS BALL ROLLING. LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING EVERYTHING...STARTING PAY, BENEFITS, UNIONS, BONUSES, HOURS, ANCILLARY STAFF IN THE DEPT. THANK YOU FOR READING AND I HOPE YOU WRITE!

Moving your thread to the Nevada forum where you will get better responses.

We ask that you do not post in all CAPITALS, as it means that you are yelling at us in bulletin board talk. And it also makes it hard to read.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hi..
Wecome to Las Vegas ! I'm an L.P.N. and have lived here since 1988. Vegas has only two hospitals that are trauma centers..University Medical Center and Sunrise Hospital Medical Center , both are very good. U.M.C. has been a trauma center for a number of years and Sunrise has been a trauma center for approx. 2-3 years...we have 9 hospitals...with three more in planning stages/being built. I work in another smaller hospital in town. I love it here in Vegas. I've been an nurse for 42 years. Take care....Las Vegas is a great place to work and play.
