It sounds like UMC is a great hospital. I've been working for about a year as a nurse associate (the same thing as a nurse apprentice out there) in a cardiovascular ICU at the cleveland clinic. I like that fast pace! I've been applying all over in ICU's, but I think I'm going to have to start on a medsurg somewhere. Hopefully I can get back to my ICU's quickly!

Either way, I can't wait to get out there! Maybe I'll see some of you all on the floors! I graduate next month, and then we'll be out there shortly after! Yay! Take care...

Nope. Don't work there yet. I have clinicals there right now and the info I'm passing on is from RN's I met there during rotation. We get to rotate to ICU,ER, surgery, etc. ER also has a new grad program. I've heard UMC is really hard to get into as a new grad if you haven't had your clinicals there and don't know anyone.
