If you haven't found a job you have you thought of the possibility of looking in northern nevada for jobs. I work at the local hospital in ELY and they are always hiring new grads and they are currently looking for nurses. The best part is that the hospital is so rural that you get all your experience in one place! IE: L & D, ER, ICU, Med-Surg, OR, Ortho and so on! Good Luck!

I'm only speaking from experience when I say that it is REALLY hard right now to find a job as a new graduate. I graduated in December and still have not found a job (at a hospital). Lucky for me I found one somewhere else but not at a hospital. I know of a few of my classmates who are also still looking. Of course there are the ones that started working right after graduating BUT a lot of them were nurse apprentices while they were in school which made it 'that much easier' for them to get hired.

I've applied to as many hospitals for as many positions I thought I would qualify for but still nothing. I've even applied at a hospital in Reno and they called me for the initial phone interview and I should be getting another call from the recruiter and then after that (assuming everything goes well) they'll schedule a face to face interview.

So....sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's really difficult right now...good luck to you!
