Has anyone heard as to how many people applied for Fall 09, or when they will make the calls?

I applied with 21 pts so i will be at the bottom of the list but i'm hopeful with the teas lowering the application #'s. next semester will be for sure cause i'll have the 10 points from 224 but i can't wait to start. i'm doing the phlebotomy program and got to do my clinicals in an e.r. and it's making me even more excited to be an RN.

This is the busiest time of year for schools. That's why she is probably not responding. I graduated from CSN this past December, and the office personnel were always running around like their heads were cut off. Best of luck to all of you who are trying to apply!

NEWS FLASH!! I just spoke with the lady that takes the applications (we all know who she is) and she told me that they will be making the calls at the end of April. Here’s the good part. She said that there were 111 applicants for the full time and 27 for the part time Fall 09 program. Whoohoo!! She also said that they will only take the applications that were complete. I guess that means that applicants that did not have all prerequisite met will not be selected. It looks like a small class for the Fall semester. It is looking good for all of us!!!

I think what she is saying is, if you meet the selection criteria and you have all your i's dotted and t's crossed on your application, then your in. That is the message I got from her. It still sounds good to me. I would assume to think that a person would not apply unless they met the criteria, right? Or unless they felt lucky they could eek by the selction committee. Just my thoughts.
