True, true. Nothing worth something is easy to accomplish. I was pretty down last semester after not getting accepted, but having to wait another semester made me want getting into nursing school even more. I have also read threads that state getting hired as a new grad is hard now a days, but then again what line of work is not going through hard times with the economy the way it is?

I got 86.5%, but pretty much took the entire time allowed; I found the exam a bit tuff at times. With my TEAS results I'll be applying with 31 points, so I am pretty happy with that. I noticed though, that not very many people were allowed to take the exam, which makes me believe that since only 2-3 test dates were given and not very many people have taken the exam, those applying have a good chance: less people applying = better odds.

Congrats I think 31 points will get you in for sure. I hope your right on the number of people taking the TEAS test. It will give me a chance to get in with only 27 points. Now we just have to WAIT until the end of April to see if we get in. That's the hardest part.

There's always a chance! you just never know... i just applied with 27 points, i think that should be good enough, hopefully! in my opinion i think the points will go down and the amount of applicants this time due to the teas. since its the first time using it, alot of people can't applied due to failing, people can't use their old scores or improve on it like the past. Also the deadline is mid semester, so i think 22 points is a possible. 22 points would of gotten you in in the past, anyhow good luck to all!!!

Hey everyone just wanted to share some info I got today when submitting my app:

The lady who takes the apps (can't say her name but u all know who i'm talking about) - she said she thinks there will be far fewer apps this time around given the limited # of students who had a chance to take the TEAS. I waited standby and there were TONS of students who were down right in tears for not being able to take the test. So if you are applying w/fewer points than you wanted - go ahead - you have a few days left and if you've taken the test the numbers are on your side I think. Also - I submitted my app with 33 points - she said she couldn't say anything one way or the other but that the odds are better this semester for all qualified applicants.

Ah yea we will get in!! Yea I just took the teas and got a 89, which isn't bad but I was hoping to get a 91 so I could actually apply with 22 points :-/ now I'm only going in with 21. O well, we will see what happens. Good luck everyone!! I guess I'm picking the right semester to apply with low points.
