CSN BIO 223 teacher?

Updated May 28, 2008 at 07:30 PM by dianah

ANy recommendations for 223? Has anyone taken it before? I've taken this class before, but it's expired. I remember it being extremely difficult....but also largely depended on the teacher. The one instructor I wanted wasn't an option Thanks!

I can't remember all the names of the instructors; if I remember it I'll get back to you.

I took 223 and 224 from the same instructor and thought he was great! He writes every word he says aloud on the board and after so many years instructing he has memorized his lectures. He's very organized and I've appreciated his lecture style because I can now refer to my "notes" like I would a reference book. PM me if you want his name.

It's certainly not an "easy A" but you will feel like you received a thorough explanation about each system. Also, he's great about answering any questions you may have.

Good luck... 223 is a great class!

A gentle reminder:

In the interest of preserving your instructors' privacy (and per TOS, under Basic Terms of Service), please do not name any names:

Please do not give out personal information about others. Do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.

Thank you.

I took 223 and 224, and 223 was A LOT easier than 224. All the instructors at Charleston are good teachers, just keep in mind that because the grades are already on a curve, they WILL NOT round your grade. In other words, if you make a 75.95 (C+) they WILL NOT round to a 76!!! You have to make the percentage. They are not being mean, that is how it is done. You get what you earn. There is no extra credit, your score is only on labs and lecture tests. I have heard lots of people complain the the instructor is "out to get them", this is not true it's just the way it is for everyone!! Good luck!!!
