Any Nurses who work at Renown Hospital in Reno?

I went in for an interview about a month ago. They told me to come in for an interview. The interview seemed like it went well and I was told that my paperwork would be passed onto the ICU. On my way out the door he gave me a heads up that they would not be hiring new graduates until at least August. Please let me know if you hear different

Did you actually interview with one of the ICU's, or did you just interview with HR?

I had a phone interview with HR yesterday afternoon... he would forward my resume to both ICU's and see if there was interest...the next new hire date was Aug 10... no new hires in July, they are training on the new electronic charting system.

Let's keep each other informed.. I also want to work in the ICU (he said there were openings in the TICU and non-trauma ICU)

bit of a fiasco. the recruiter i originally interviewed with left Renown and since then I haven't heard anything which i assume means they didn't like me. oh well I just figured that after a panel interview I at least warranted a rejection phone call, guess not

oh yes, I dealt with him also, then another recruiter called last week... did you have a panel interview with people from a particular unit?

I went into an interview but it was just HR. I did not go before the panel of a specific unit. HR said he would pass my papers along.

i had an HR interview and a panel with a tele floor, but like I said they never got back to me so I assume I didnt get it.

I can't PM... I'm also a CA resident... no word from Renown, just had a telephone interview, he said he'd call back if there was any interest in my app from the ICU manager. He said that the next start date is Aug 10th and that I had plenty of time to interview...
